HISTORY

1959.05.20   Established under the name of Yeohwa Shotgun.
1972.06.23   Designated by the government as a Specialized Manufacturer of Transmissions and Rear Axles.
1976.07.08   Stocks listed on the Korean Stock Exchange.
1978.06.05   Designated by the government as a Specialized Manufacturer of Machine Tools.
1979.07.07   Officially qualified as "A First Class Precision Macing Plant" by the government
1982.03.31   Designated by the government as a Nationally Approved Inspection office.
1982.11.31   Established Research and Development Institute Center.
Awarded the Order of Industrial Service Medal, Silver Tower.
1983.04.22   Designated by the government as a First Class Quality Control Plant.
1984.01.01   TONGIL Industries Co. and Dongyang Machinery Co. were combined.
1984.02.25   Corporate name changed to TONGIL Industry, Ltd.
1986.11.15   Awarded the Presidential Prize for Excellence in Machine Tool Development.
1991.04.01   Corporate name changed to Saeil Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
1992.11.30   Awarded Industrial Medal.
1992.12.01   Designated by the government as the Management Office of the next generation Processing System for the G-7 Advanced Technology Development Project.
1993.11.30   Awarded Order of Industrial Special Merit.
1995.01.08   Participated in the Development Project of a Mediumsized Air plane.
1995.04.01   Corporate name changed to TONGIL Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
1995.09.18   Acquired ISO 9001 Certification.
1996.01.30   Designated by the government as the main company of CALS
1996.12.01   Designated by the government as the management office of the CIM(Computer Intergrated Manufacturing) for the G-7 Advanced Technology Development Project.

  • The table uses highly rigid bearing to ensure heavy cutting work.
  • The column is of a unified body structure designed considering the stabilized accuracy even during heavy cutting.
